It definitely takes some time to figure out how to use the brushes; but it looks like you are well on your way, Dean. This thread is a good place to inspire each other as we become more comfortable with the program.

This can be very addicting but fun. I agree. At first I thought I could get similar results with Topaz Impression but her brushes allow you much more control in the creation of your image. Each time I use it I feel like I am learning a little bit more. |

I have also discovered on plain backgrounds to add a texture then paint gives a much more pleasing end result.  |
