That's on my bucket list Sepiana. I've been on a tiny piece of the old road in Santa Rosa NM, but it's always piqued my interest. It is quite an experience. We did route 66 from Illinois to California. And, yes, we stopped in Santa Rosa. If you ever go back that way, pay a visit to Tucumcari. It is a place where you can really "get your kicks on Route 66". |
