Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

V is for various views of a vintage vehicle. There may be one more in there too. ;-) Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

I owned a '58 VW with the old-school air (vs water) "heater" and I use the term "heater" loosely! Driving to university down Whyte Avenue (Edmonton) in ca 1965 when it was -20°F wearing full winter garb with the windows down and a scraper to clear a small open patch in the ice on the inside of the windshield. Brrr...

Brrr... I think you're pretty close on the year. The front turn signals were top-mounted on the fenders, which moves it out of the earlier '50's. Your story sounds very similar to VW life in Wisconsin. Things we never forget. ;-) Thanks for the comment!

We had a 1954 Karmann Ghia (!), with dual carbs, high compression heads, Abarth muffler and a "Gasp" GAS heater! That really worked! Dad bought it used, we drove for a several years. Fun car. cjt

Finally got some blue sky and there are lots of V for Victorian around here so here are a couple: This Victorian house was built around 1876 and looks much the same as it likely did then: Victoria Hall built in 1889 houses the town offices and theatre (originally also included a police station and fire hall) Tony

One more V for Violet. Spotted these violet crocus growing wild along a trail today - two days ago they would have been under 6" of snow but I guess they decided that spring was here today so decided the time was right to bloom - I hope they were right! Tony
