Prompt: High class cat sipping cocktail in stately English garden. (Digital Art) Chris, Firefly hit the mark on this one. Amazing results per your prompt!

For a while I have been looking for a picture of an empty room to cut and paste group pictures of people. AI prompt. "Large well lit empty room wooden floor used as photoshop template for inserting 50 people" I found some usable results. Question: Is it permitted to clone or crop out the Adobe firefly logo? I tried to find their EULA end user agreement but was not successful. Where can I find their guidelines for incorporating Adobe AI generated images in personal projects for non commercial use? Kind regards Chris

Chris, in the request for access to Firefly, there were some rules. While it's still in beta mode, it's not permissible to remove the logo. You had to accept this in their terms. So...no, you can't remove it. Sorry.

Vicki and Frank, thank you very much for your replies. Maybe in the future, Adobe firefly images could be available only to CC subscribers which will rule me out. We will have to wait and see...
But it is a very powerful and creative programe! I am having so much fun with it!
Kind regards Chris

Adobe is very clear in regards to their terms of use. Their terms are available here: www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms/adobe-cc-beta-gen-ai-additional-terms.htmlWhen you download a generated image, they notify you that it will include content credentials. In the terms linked above (boldfacing is mine): ". Output. 3.1 Your Responsibilities. You are solely responsible for the creation and use of the Output and for ensuring the Output complies with our Terms and our Guidelines; however, we may use available technologies, vendors, or processes to screen for and block Output that may violate applicable law, the rights of a third party, our Terms, or our Guidelines before the Output is delivered to you. Adobe disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Output, including any implied warranties that the Output will not violate the rights of a third party or any applicable law. In addition, you must not remove or alter any watermarks or Content Authenticity Initiative metadata (e.g., Content Credentials) that may be generated with the Output, or otherwise attempt to mislead others about the origin of the Output. I am having so much fun with it! Chris , Since Firefly is unique, I envision it being a separate offering from Adobe...maybe through CC, but not as part of a bundle. That might make it affordable to more people...and give more folks the chance to play!!!

I appreciate that now we can use the web version for free! According to Adobe, the new "AI Fill" feature now available with Photoshop CC beta is powered by Adobe firefly. I wonder if someone were to select the whole of a blank canvas and write a prompt, if that would generate a similar result to the web version of Adobe Firefly? It would be interesting for someone to test it. Kind regards Chris

Ok, Chris...I took this as a challenge and came up with this image using PS Beta. First, the layer stack: Started with a blank, white background layer. Then, selected the bottom portion and clicked on "Generative Fill" and typed in "Ocean with waves pulling away from the shore." The second Generative Fill layer (selected the top portion) prompt: "Late afternoon sky with cirrus clouds." Then I selected a portion of the image overlapping the horizon, with part of the water and the sky selected. The 3rd prompt: "A four-masted ship from the 1800s." Voila!
So, Yes, Chris...someone could do that! Interesting that there is no identification saying it was generated with AI.
