The stained glass window above the altar of St Mark's Church in Kennington (just steps away from The Oval Cricket Ground) makes a colourful change from an external view. St Mark's was consecrated in 1824. It was badly damaged by bombing in 1940, so the window is probably at least partially restored. Brenda Brenda, what a colorful stained glass window! And the intricate design? Simply beautiful! Whoever restored this window did a great job. |
