Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE I am assigning no theme this week. It is your turn! Pick a theme which appeals to you, grab your camera, and capture something which will be an interpretation of the theme you chose. Also, let us know what your theme is and how your image relates to it. Have fun!

My theme is flowers.....I had hoped to get out to take some pictures today but the winds haven't died down.....not a good day for flower pictures. I settled for my orchids (!) for today but hope to get out for some of Nature's beauty later in the week.

I decided to challenge myself to "just one shot" as my theme. Step one was find something of remote interest and then frame it, compose it and capture it in one push of the button. ( Glad it's in focus ;-) ) If that's a stupid theme, just pretend I chose "bench." Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

I'll go with wildlife as a theme as I was able to get close to this bullfrog today without having him jump back into the lake (it was a he - you can tell from the size of the ears and this one had big ones!) Tony

Clouds 2.0 More ordinary cumulus summer clouds. Was hoping for a t-storm tomorrow but they have been nixed. There can be great storm clouds over the low mountains to the west. SW Alberta, May 30

My theme for this week is Tidal Revelations. My favourite time for a Thameside walk is when the River is at its lowest ebb. All kinds of curiosities are revealed. Here are just two. The remnants of a jetty, or Boatmen's Steps, as they were called. In the days when there was no road across the River except London Bridge, there were numerous small craft to take passengers over the River for a small charge. Just one of many crossing places revealed at low tide. i.ibb.co/8x943h4/11.jpgAnother revelation, just at the point where the River turns on itself as it loops between Tower Bridge and Greenwich, is a wonderful firm stretch of sandy beach, much beloved of dog owners, who are always there exercising their pets (incidentally, no doggy bags needed here, high tide will clear all away). i.ibb.co/PrYVKnd/22.jpgBrenda

Beautiful orchids you have!

You did a great job challenging yourself -- composition and focus to die for.

Tony, what an amazing shot! The bullfrog seems to be posing for you. Look at those ears (and those eyes)!
