Hula Girl

Debbie Grise from Russellville, Kentucky

The first time I saw her was at least 20-years ago, right here, at Red Boiling Springs; and, I have seen her every time I have been here.

Once she arrives and gets started, that Hula Hoop is never still; when she slows down between songs, it is slowly looping around her hips, never stopping; then, when another song starts, it picks up speed and loops to the rhythm.

Continuous; she never stops for anything until the day is done.

I challenge anyone of any age to stand alongside her and keep at it like she does.

She is definitely The Hula Queen.






The guy with the big mustache is the disc jockey and master of ceremonies; he keeps the turntable going with Classic Rock fitting for a Classic Car Show.

I never could get the hang of the hula hoop. Within 2 seconds it would be at my feet.

How long has it been since you last tried the Hula Hoop?

Maybe you should give it another go; you may have picked up a few techniques and talents since then that you don't realize you have.

Hahahahaha...More years than I care to remember BuckSkin. If I were to try it now I would probably end up in hospital.
