Hello PSE&M members!
When we asked for your feedback on our forum and how it could be improved, the suggestion most often repeated was for the images in your gallery to be displayed in reverse-chronological order.
While this is not possible due to how the galleries are implemented, the developer of the gallery plug-in has recently introduced a feature that does go a ways toward alleviating this problem.
We have enabled this new feature in the Individual User Gallery Board. When you view any member's gallery you will now see a page of thumbnails; click one to see the full-size image. It will be displayed in a frame and comments can be added there. Since many images are displayed simultaneously, the sense of ordering in time is not nearly as strong.
Please try it out, put it through its paces, then let us know what you think. A poll is provided here for you to give your feedback in a single click. You can change your vote at any time, so no worries! If you have more to say or questions about it, please post into this thread; as always, your participation is most welcome and appreciated!

Hey Tom, this post is getting hard to find as it is near the bottom of the first page now. Can you put it somewhere near the top while the voting is going on?
I haven't voted yet, but I like what I see, except for the title scrolling continuously, which is a distraction. Can this be fixed?
Otherwise, I prefer this format.
Do others have comments?

Fantastic! This is so much easier to view than the old way, and I think the thumbnails are big enough.

I guess I don't understand; this post is a "sticky", which means it should stay near the top of the Forum Questions and Feedback board. Is that not what you are seeing? I am in contact with the developer to see if the title can be displayed else where; I'll post here once I hear back. I'm glad you like it! Please don't forget to vote (you can always change your vote later if you wish).

Tom, I think I know what is happening.....when I come in I always hit "New Posts" and I think the stickies move unless updated? This time it was about the fifth one down from the top.

Frank, I don't know how to explain that, but when I tried to repair it the URL was not valid. I would very much appreciate it if you would repost it so I try and understand what is happening.

I voted "love it" and think it's a great improvement, but I don't see the like it (thumbs up)) button. Is there supposed to be one?

I'm really glad you like it John; don't forget to cast your vote!
Rita, that is something I am pursuing. The developer is traveling for the holidays, so I don't expect a resolution right away.
For now, if you use the Latest Gallery Posts button you will see the like button. Sorry for the inconvenience!
