Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just post a photo or photos which will be your interpretation of the theme.
The rules are rather simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping. You are to experiment and, most of all, have fun.

kathylee,
This is an unusual and abstract interpretation -- M is for Monday. If it weren't a lake, it could be M is for marsh.

M is for Machinery - - the antique kind found on a farm. The almond orchards across the street are in full bloom now. The owners of this farm have been in business since the 1940s so might have actually used this equipment.

Es,
What a perfect M for this challenge! I really like the way you captured this machinery -- framed by the trees. Great job!
BTW, you beat me to the punch. Now I have to scratch "machinery" from my list.

After another dump of snow I felt the need to visit our local craft brewery to refill a growler and realized I was looking at an M for Mural - so here it is!

M is for Magnolia. First tulip magnolia I've seen in bloom this year. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

Here is an almost Macro shot (as close up as my phone camera will go) of a Beavertail cactus flower shot while hiking out in the Buckskin Mountains of Arizona this morning.

Tony - Beautiful, colorful, and sharp image . . . and a mural to go with a refilled growler. Perfect! You even threw in a little touch of symmetry with the two trees. Bill - What a capture! I love the composition, the colors, and the way you captured the tulip magnolia blossoms -- from the corner of the frame and coming into the frame in a diagonal.
Pauline - Great interpretation with . . . M is for macro. I really like the way you composed this image, with the cactus coming into the frame from the right lower corner. Well done!

So high is the quality of this week's contributions, I feel almost embarrassed to be adding my attempt at the theme.
My "M" is for Money - something that interests us all!

Dennis,
First of all, no reason to be embarrassed about your entry; on the contrary, you should be proud of your accomplishment. You had a great idea and you executed it flawlessly. I love your image -- the way you composed it, the shooting angle (perspective), the captured details, the black background, the thin white stroke frame. Also, it is refreshing to see an M which was not just out there waiting to be captured. You took an extra step and created your own M photo opportunity. You did a great job!
