Good Wednesday to everyone. I was thinking about the heat we are experiencing, and thought I would give you a picture to help cool you down. The picture is from morquefile. Have fun, and stay cool.

Oh dear, oh dear, my hard drive must have overheated. Fantastic, Ritage. I had to look back on Verber's post to check you'd got the same photo I'm still chuckling at what you've created - just wonderful. Well done. Julie

Thank you, Julie, you are very kind. The vehicle required a lot of cloning and only small areas to clone from, so it's probably not very realistic, but it was all there in the picture.

Out of Bounds worked well with your layout, Billie Jean. I like that background paper - so pretty.
Sepiana, your snowmen are so cute - nice work.
Everyone's work is so good. Each week, you guys amaze me with your skill level and ingenuity.

BillieJean,
your layout is brilliant and the execution perfect. I suppose the picture in picture idea comes more spontaneously to you scrappers than to the rest of us.
I'm very curious about your use of Inkscape. Is it easier to use than Illustrator? Do you use it a lot? In the past I have looked into both of them, and also XaraExtreme which pretty much has the same purpose. The learning curve for all of them seems very high, and I didn't think I would use this type of designing often enough to spend so much time learning to handle any of them with ease. Am I wrong about this?

I'm also afraid that yes there is a bit of a learning curve with Inkscape as with all graphics programmes. The great thing is that there are some good video tutorials on YouTube which are very helpful in the learning process. Sending you a PM so I don't hijack this thread...

What a great start you all have done so far. Each one is unique. Ritage- Yes I would say you have overheated your H-D. Good idea you came up with. And I also like your second one. It would make for a nice company logo.
Moto- I like your pop art look you have done here. Good job.
Sepiana- With all your add-ons you put in here really makes it look cold, cold, cold.
BillieJean- That was a very good idea, and well executed OBB.
fotofrank- I like your simple, but effective idea here. It really does look like a bigger pile of snow.
Thanks to you all for your for your ideas and participating.
