Bird's Landing / dandc So much to like about this image, those leading lines of telegraph poles, colours that sing together, and then the added texture really make this image stand out.

Coneflower Fantasy / jjr1770 Beautiful subject and excellent PP choices, the dark background with the added speckles really makes this stand out.

Great choices, love all these pictures. When I first looked at "Hanging on by its Roots" in the gallery, I thought wow that is the IOW for this week. I was right, but all of these pictures were really winners!!!!

I love all the images you have chosen Jackie and I always get so excited if one of my images makes IOW! This poor little arbutus tree was standing tall up on the bank last year, but the bank slid down and I don't know how much longer it can resist the storms and tides.
