I added some parrots but have no idea how one would reflect their undersides in the water...... I was thinking that at the distances involved the reflection of the parrots would not be very detailed; I make a quick pass, removing the color, inverting the birds and bringing the opacity *way* down. I now think it looks more realistic without any reflections. I think it has to do with the angle of the lighting and that the birds are in the near field; there wouldn't be reflections in the water from this point of view.

Good morning everyone. I would like to start off with a great big Thank You for all your condolences, and comments for my wife and I. I do so appreciate them. I know that this is just a computer, and an internet. But when you communicate with people for a long time, you seem to get to know them. So for all of you who took the time to type out a small condolence really does mean a lot to me. Thank You all again.
Everyone has done a spectacular job on this weeks challenge. They all have their own qualities and uniqueness. Thanks to all of you also who took the time to help Helen out in my absence. That's what I really like about this site and the old Elements Village, is there are so many people willing to help out others. That's what makes this site such a special place to be a part of. I know I haven't been a big contributor here lately with my wife's illness the last couple of years. But I hope to change that here in the near future. Thanks to all of you again.
Sincerely, Mike
