Making Scrapbook Backgrounds

Since this thread is about Backgrounds I hope this is ok to include this here.

I was playing around and making this page for fun when I saw Sydney had made a BG Texture and kindly offered it to those who would like it.

So I incorporated it here blending it with a BG texture from Texturepalace using the Vivid Light blending mode.

Rita, your umbrella example is perfect to show off selection to keep your brushing confined - and thanks for reminding us about making our own brushes. I haven't made a custom brush in a while - now I just have to find something to make a brush from.

Note: png's make the best custom brushes, although if you are ambitious, you can make your own selections from anything.
