I give this "E" for effort......spent way too much time not to post but would have liked the lighthouse and boat to be a little more visible  Helen, I know you didn't ask for my advice
I would try a Levels Adjustment. Pushing the white slider a little to the left would give you as much light as you wish. Takes 1 minute tops.
