ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed, but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Not many players for this one it appears..... These columns are pretty cool. They stand in an abandoned prison that was built in 1896.

Not many players for this one it appears..... bryston3bsst, sometimes this challenge can move slowly. But this is to be expected . . . as one needs to find the time to shoot something to fulfill the posted theme. Beautiful shot with a great play of light and shadow. I love how the columns create a leading line drawing our eyes into the image. You got this challenge to a great start!

Columns decorating the front of the Masonic Lodge in Stratford, Ontario. In it's time it's been the Town Hall and now most noted since the 1930's for having a concert hall in the back where visiting bands play. Not sure I'd want to live next door as they just updated their sound system! Tony

kdcintx, great finding! This is quite an eye-catching shot -- layers (waves?) of columns and leading lines at different angles. I just keep going to back to it.

Columns supporting railroad built in 1880's kdcintx, beautiful shot. I love how you captured the details/patterns on the wooden columns. Great job!
Built in 1880's? Definitely a piece of American railroad history!

The perspective (angle?) of the shot, the sharp and clear architectural details, and . . . the symmetry in your composition. I love it!
