Actually it was you who gave me the idea of doing a displacement mat and his bone structure lent itself well to the method, all those curves and creases!

I do apologize for not writing these comments earlier but as they say . . . "Better late than never".
Helen -- I love your idea of a displacement map with a B/W conversion. It generated a very intriguing image.
Tom -- Panos’ action was the perfect choice for this image. It created a 3D-like look.
Frank -- Beautiful results. The texture/colors raised this image to another level.
Mike -- Your use of a woodburning/carving effect paid off. I really like the results.
Riandei -- Great idea to use different blending modes. They resulted in such a unique image.
Stezza -- Whichever techniques/effects you used did the job. This is so original.
Bayla -- I love this text/displacement map effect. Simply beautiful (and well executed).
