I did the Van Gough effect. Then I went into filters . . . . . and had a good old play around. whippet, this was a great effect for this image. Your playing-around with filters paid off. Really nice job!

Thanks to every one for your very nice comments.
I ran the Polar Coordinate Filter on the selected flowers. Placed the original selection inside it. Cut it out in a circle. Placed a Bubble Brush on top of it -- all the thin white stuff is from one brush click, to leave plenty of transparent area.
You can find all sorts of Bubble Brushes on line, very nice ones on Deviant Art.
The background image was from Pixabay, tweaked a little with color changes.

Although I have the NIK plug-ins, I have never used Analog Efex.....decided to play with it a bit and then converted to B/W.....
