In summer people enjoy open air gatherings, for food or drink, on water or on dry land. Greenwich hosts a Latin American Food Festival and the River Thames is a good venue for a "mini booze cruise". Both events, I have to say, accompanied by the obligatory ear-splitting music also typical of summer.

I have never seen one of these moths before although looking it up, I see they are common. I was afraid he would fly away before I got my camera but now it's an hour later and he is still on our balcony. Helen, awesome shot! Up close & personal with this moth. It looks so delicate! |
