ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week’s theme was a joint suggestion by Dennis and Brenda -- dennis9 . (Thanks, Dennis and Brenda!)

I'm not sure this is what Dennis and Brenda had in mind when they thought of this theme. These tree carvings (3 of them in total) are in Blackburn Park, Campbell Town Tasmania. The amount of work, time and effort that went into creating these must be mind blowing.

Just a poplar tree. Or more correctly, late-day light reflected off a poplar tree, grass and dark clouds.

hmca says - Christmas tree...... Florida style.
Love it, Helen.
Thought I would put forward trees without bare branches. These grow in the garden which is at the bottom of my own. Conifers and privet.
These are also in a garden out the back of my house. Silver birch. And more conifers.

Lots of bare branches here! It's been a rather dull and foggy week so a little bit of colour on a tree did attract my attention during a walk in the forest even if it was only fungus and moss on a broken tree branch. Looking forward to seeing the sun again - maybe at the weekend? Tony

WayneS , great finding for this theme! Very "Floridian" tree carvings. I really like the first image; the dolphins just seem to be jumping out of the tree.

Just a poplar tree. Or more correctly, late-day light reflected off a poplar tree, grass and dark clouds. Clive, great capture (simple, uncluttered composition). Beautiful tonal range and light! Another one for the wall.

Trees line the road in Mt Tabor Park. Bill, great capture! You definitely have an eye for composition. I love the S-line created by the road -- an invitation to follow it and to see more trees.

Christmas tree...... Florida style. Helen, that's Florida-style Christmas tree alright. Great job capturing it. A very festive image!

whippet , great idea capturing trees "without bare branches" but showing shades of green instead. Nicely done!
