I was passing by a local Christmas Tree farm today and a song came into my head! O Tannenbaum which is the original German song which translates to O Christmas Tree. A couple of shots - a large field of young trees that won't be ready for market for a few more years and some mature trees that may or may not make it to market (Ontario has strict grading requirements for Christmas Trees!) I'll go with the German version by Nat King Cole or for an English version there's one by Aretha FranklinTony Tony, good thing that O Tannenbaum came into your head. Your two photos are a perfect interpretation of it. I am going with both versions; I am big fan of both singers. |
