A pair of . . . reading glasses.
whippet, very clever interpretation of Pairs. I like how you composed your shot to include some text material.

Table for two. Thanks for the theme Sepiana.
Bill, amazing what a photographer can see! I love the urban (grunge?) feeling your image exudes. Great job!

Another sign of spring - a pair of tundra swans passing through on the way to the arctic. And on the ground another pair are sizing each other up ... Tony
Tony,
It would be hard to pick a favorite. The pair of flying swans drawing our eyes across the frame or the pair "framing" the other ones in the background? Impressive work!

Staying with Tony's avian theme. Canada geese, Coaldale, March 19, 2019. You can see there is still ice on the pond. Perhaps a bit deceiving because it was 15°C here today with sun and no wind. It's called Spring of Deception. We are far from the end of winter. A pair of geese, and one goose and its phantom image. Clive, these are two beautiful images. I really like both -- the first one for its minimalist composition and the second one for the reflections. Nicely done!

A pair of - cooling towers.
A pair - of goal posts.
Unfortunately I could not line them up as I wanted, as this was the only gap in the hedge.
whippet, two great interpretations of this theme -- from industrial to sports. I particularly like how you captured the goal posts -- one "framing" the other.

Helen, really nice! The playing of light/shadows makes it a very intriguing image.

A pair of mudlarks are busy treasure-seeking along the Thames foreshore at low tide.
Brenda
Brenda, I can always count on your photographer's eyes. Great finding -- a pair of mudlarks! I really like how the touch of color (yellow/blue) breaks the grayness of the foreshore.
BTW, your image just gave me an idea. Check the next WP challenge coming shortly.

Following on from Whippet's pair of cooling towers, here is another pair of cooling towers.
I took this photo while on the bullet train from Wuxi to Shanghai 2 weeks ago. Screaming along at 300kmh life flashes past pretty quickly when looking out the window.
I used shutter priority at 1/3200s with ISO set to 400 to enable an aperture of f4 which gave me good DOF since the subjects were a fair distance away. I used burst mode in the hope of getting at least some keepers. This pair of operating cooling towers is one of them.

Visited my sister in western Colorado this week. Finally dusted off the camera after an uninspired winter. We went to Arches NP one day and the Colorado National Monument the next day. This one was along the Colorado River on the way to Moab, UT on Monday. It kinda sorta fits the theme... .... a pair of ... Rocks? Mesas? Anyway there are 2 of them and they sort of look alike.

I am waiting to see the Lone Ranger, and Tonto, come galloping along the trail.
Beautiful shot.

Rick, what a beautiful shot! You did justice to the beauty of that region. Great DOF!
Pleased to see you back participating in the WP challenge. Hopefully you will stick around!

Nice shot Preeb.
I hope you also took shots to make a panorama. It would look sensational.

Nice shot Preeb. I hope you also took shots to make a panorama. It would look sensational. Actually, I've assembled a couple of them, but they don't quite fit this theme. I'll post them above in the Show Your Work forum.
