Peterj , quite a variety of "written in" -- from stone to digital, from old (historic) to contemporary. The history behind the slate box makes that shot priceless.

I am curious. Where were you positioned when you took that shot? Quite an interesting angle!

hmca , three shots/three different interpretations of "Written in". Nicely done on all three! I particularly like the LOVE sculpture on the beach.

Keeping with water ... here's a bridge mostly for pedestrians, string enough for single vehicles. This is a stretch since the info is stamped.
