Today was Christmas Jumper Day at my son's workplace. Here he is, proudly showing off his seasonally red, silly jumper. i.ibb.co/dt85F8W/Matthew2.jpgBrenda

I found lots of red at The Red hotel downtown. The Red is a part of the Radisson chain which opened about a year ago and is named for a great dane. Alternately, 'my' Wisconsin Badgers are headed to the Rose Bowl for a New Year's matchup against Oregon. Go Red indeed! Thanks for the theme Sepiana! Bill, Three great urban shots of Red! I love the angle in the 1st and 3rd shots (looking down). Very original! However, my favorite one is the 2nd shot -- the red reflections did it for me! And . . . , yes, indeed, the Wisconsin Badgers are red. Go Red!

High bush cranberries, Dec 9, 2019. In our front yard. Clive, perfect for this theme. The snow on the cranberries makes the Red color stand out.

Peterj, great job capturing three different subjects, all mostly red. I really like the Table Runner shot -- filling the frame, clear details, and . . . a symmetrical composition.

Have a few anthurium brought in for the winter. The flowers are yellow and tiny but the spathe is big and red. Playing around with a Jodi frame and a vignette and it didn't come out quite as I intended but it's red! Tony Tony, what a beautiful image! It reminds me of Georgia O'Keeffe's paintings. Frame and hang it on the wall!

This sign gave me a laugh today....the fact that it was red was a bonus. Helen, great finding! This sign is indeed mostly red (and a source of a good laugh).

Here’s what it sold for at auction .. www.sothebys.com/en/buy/auction/2019/american-art-2/georgia-okeeffe-anthurium . Bit out of my price range! Tony

Red wouldn't be complete without a cardinal. They really brighten up a dull day (and I counted 12 today around the bird feeder) Tony Tony, this shot is perfect for this theme. Great capture! He is just there posing for you. I totally agree. We are having a winter storm here -- snow, ice, temperatures falling, fog, gray skies, no sun. These red birds do lift one's spirits. You should have seen how excited they were when I went to replenish the feeders (three feeders!!!).

Here's the Crystal Palace Christmas gnome, duly decorated with festive red bells. Dennis Dennis, I love this shot! It has a lot going for it -- subject, simple composition, negative space, sharpness. And the bonus? Its connection to soccer, the beautiful game.

Clean your boat before you launch.... in fact, if you aren't launching an icebreaker, it might be good idea to wait until spring, then clean before launching. Jumbo Reservoir in NE Colorado. Rick, very original choice of subject! Great composition -- capturing the reservoir in the background. It puts all in perspective.

Long, sweet red peppers. Note: I purchased some new studio lights and been doing some testing (i.e. playing). Clive, I really like the composition -- red peppers against a green background, abiding by the Rule of Odds (three peppers).
