Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun. NOTE
This week's theme was a joint suggestion by Dennis and Brenda -- dennis9. (Thanks, Dennis and Brenda!)

Your cat is beautiful, Tony. I do not have a pet. However, I will be on the lookout for people walking their pets this week and will add them to this post.
Today's walker....
Thursday.....
Often people will bring their dog down to the river's edge to play.
Thought this black and white dog was so cute......
B/W seemed best for this one.......

Thanks Helen. Had a hard time getting Harv to pose. He's young a full of energy.

Meet Miley, the All-American Mutt (named for the settlement where we lived in the Bahamas, not the singer). He will be 6 years old in November. We adopted him from a shelter and he has been our surrogate child and King of the House ever since. I took about 30 exposures to get this one... was hoping that he'd do something cute or clever, but the sprinklers ran this morning and he doesn't like getting his feet wet.

A pet hospital is often needed and always expensive - but our pets are worth it! A walk is always something special with a pet. Brenda Brenda, you are so right! Nice take on this theme -- pet + care + fun. I really like the angle you took your second shot -- the subjects facing the camera. It draws the viewer in, inviting him/her to join in the fun of walking with a pet. One can feel their anticipation. The contented expression on their faces (including the dog’s) says it all.

I don't have a pet, so I borrowed this one. Thanks for the theme Sepiana, Dennis and Brenda. Bill, I knew you would come through. Great shot -- well-composed, leading lines, eye-level with the dog, your subject coming into the frame towards the viewer. I love the sense of solitude that emanates from it!
