Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

A fine topic Sepiana ... since we all eat every day. Just behind rice, corn (maize) and wheat, the lowly potato is the world's fourth largest crop. Think about 'em: baked, boiled, mashed, french fries, chips (crisps) hashbrowns, tater tots, potato soup, potato salad ... and vodka. Other vegetables should pay attention to potatoes! "Potatoes are low in calories — a medium-sized baked potato contains only about 110 calories. They are a good source of vitamins C and B6, manganese, phosphorus, niacin and pantothenic acid." These are Mozart (a Netherland variety) from our back yard. It is a red-skinned, yellow-fleshed variety.

You are making my mouth water, Clive. Nice 'still life' image.

I don't think I've ever met a potato I haven't liked no matter how it was cooked.

Just because we can't go outside right now is no reason to not have a picnic. Leftover fried chicken, eggs, apples, cheese, nuts, veggies and crackers. All with no ants! Thanks for lunch Sepiana!

A tray of 22 oz Prime Striploins on tomorrow evenings menu, at my son's restaurant! I took the picture from my computer screen, so it is not as sharp as the original picture! i.ibb.co/1n48YRX/20200916-161044.jpg

Karen, this looks like a scene from a movie with carefully cast characters. Great shot!

Not sure if this is for the theme Decoration or Food but these white pumpkins are ready for harvest in time for Canadian Thanksgiving (October 12th). Apparently white pumpkins command a premium over the plain old orange ones but they taste just the same. Tony
