Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

This tree house and the prohibition sign has been there for some years - I suspect the original builders are now likely grown up and have other ideas!

Staying off railroad bridges is always a good idea. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

Annual ritual: the town installs a few thin-ice warning signs (to cover their collective butts), but as soon as the ice is good a few small skating surfaces appear. Was unseasonably cold in November and few people were skating. But a few weeks above normal put an end to that. And now it is cold again and new skating areas will appear soon and the ice is nice and smooth.

Tonyw - Great tree house and sign. Yep, I bet the original sign makers have other ideas about girls now.

One more from an early morning trail walk today - stay apart and no digging for buried treasure! Tony

Due to Covid restrictions, golf is prohibited at the moment. Since this is one of the more exclusive Golf Clubs in this area, the Directors are making sure that it is also prohibited to walkers seeking a change of scenery. Thoroughly understandable: if you pay a goodly sum for the right to enjoy these beautiful surroundings, you wouldn't want them invaded by opportunistic ramblers, dogs, children. Entry therefore prohibited to all. i.ibb.co/LN2c5n4/299-Prohibited.jpgBrenda

All vehicles except emergency vehicles are prohibited from crossing this bridge, creating a "quiet road". Perfect for pedestrians but arousing the anger of many motorists who habitually used this road as a "rat run". Dennis Dennis, also perfect for this theme. I really like how you captured the bridge (subject as a whole) and followed it up with a close-up of the sign. It puts all into perspective.

I knew I would find a variety of images to illustrate this theme at Sandy Hook National Park..... Helen, great idea. My favorite is the last image (door with a chain). It screams "Prohibited”.

at the end of a driveway.... Judy, great finding. That "Private" sign says it all. No welcoming mat! No snow? We have been sending you lots of it.

Tony, this takes top honors for originality of subject. If those walls could talk! Great job! One more from an early morning trail walk today - stay apart and no digging for buried treasure! I really like how you composed your shot to center the post with the signs. It puts the spotlight on the warnings they deliver.
