Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE This week’s theme was a joint suggestion by Dennis and Brenda -- dennis9. (Thanks, Dennis and Brenda!) In their own words, this is what the Freedom theme is all about.

Have to agree with Tony. Certainly something I am looking forward to as well. I am also looking forward to watching our granddaughter participate in gymnastics again. I have been making her books for each season for years.....the last few years I also started making one for myself.

We are both now waiting for our second Covid vaccinations, which should, at last, bring us a measure of freedom. i.ibb.co/BB97QKP/Covid-19.jpgDennis

My idea of freedom is to follow my son, who creates a variety of urban walks from home (we are not allowed at present to use any public transport). He ferrets out suburban London's green spaces and interesting streets for us to explore. Whatever the weather, that's perfect freedom! i.ibb.co/xMSCZhs/Matt-1.jpgi.ibb.co/Kjx1Fnm/Matt-2.jpgBrenda

And one more - the sign outside our local theatre. It's been a year now since I took the cast photos for the April show that never happened. Looking forward to getting back to live theatre - and for that snow to melt! Tony

Looking forward to using these again! Tony, I bet many of us are in the same boat. I really like the perspective of your shot. The passport and the piece of luggage seem to be asking -- "Pick us up! Let’s go".

We are both now waiting for our second Covid vaccinations, which should, at last, bring us a measure of freedom. Dennis Dennis, this is freedom with a capital (and bold) F. I love your interpretation. So uplifting! Better days are looming on the horizon.

Here's my take on the theme - Maybe the snow, ice, and prolonged low temperatures froze out the virus here in Texas. Ready for freedom from the virus, intermittent electricity, lack of water, and the cold. kdcintx, I can see how you are ready for freedom from COVID-19 as well as from the cold, electricity/water problems. Life is rough down in Texas at the moment. Wishing you better days ahead!

As soon as we are allowed freedom from Lockdown and Hospitality venues are re-opened, I will be popping down to one of my local hostelries to celebrate Freedom with a pint (or two)of cold beer. Can't wait! Dennis Dennis, these colorful buildings match your optimism. Hope you won’t have to wait long to celebrate Freedom. Have an additional pint on me!

Brenda Brenda, great interpretation of freedom, the kind that elicits an emotional response from the viewer. I feel like following your son as well. You should hang these two images side by side on the wall!
