Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

My "M" is for Masks, which unfortunately have to be our main accessory whenever we leave the house. i.ibb.co/KstdMmX/Masks.jpgDennis

My "M" is for Mansion - in this case Nonsuch Mansion, which stands in the Park of the same name in south west London. It was originally Georgian but was refurbished in the Tudor Gothic style in the early 19th century. Just lately it has been used as a Covid Vaccination Centre. I was lucky enough to get my "jab" there a few weeks ago - a wonderful opportunity to get a glimpse of the palatial interior of the Mansion. And of course, I had to return this morning armed with my camera to record this most impressive " M". i.ibb.co/sjpr0zW/304-M-H.jpgBrenda

Long story but I spent quite a while today getting the my Camera Remote app to work again. I don't use it often but it's handy for having the camera by the bird feeder but operating it from a smartphone or tablet at a distance. After updates to the app, the camera and the tablet it had stopped working and sorting it out was a frustrating experience. Needless to say I was doing it inside in the warm and had the camera set up on a tripod with a shell as a subject. The shell is from a Mollusc and the lens was a Macro so good for an M! And yes, I did finally fix the problem and fired the camera from several Metres away to take this shot. As an aside it's apparently a common problem and I found many "solutions" on the web and tried several before finding one that actually worked. Tony

M is for mates. Canada geese tend to mate for life. (I've read stories by a close observer biologist who tracked nesting pairs for years and he reported they do change partners even when the ousted mate is still alive. Although they look alike to us, there are slight variations if facial feathers and other markings.) This pair is likely to stick around the local ponds and will likely to set up home soon.
