A different kind of work under construction - Street Art. With official approval, this one. Brenda Brenda, great composition! I really like how the building columns frame the artist at work and draw our eyes towards art under construction. Very effective!

Helen, it’s always fun to watch someone else do the work! Two examples of a building under construction, perfect for this theme.

An art quilt under construction. very early construction ha ha sad entry I know - my apologies Judy, I beg to differ. I think it’s a very original interpretation of this theme; it’s art under construction.

Improvements to stairs on railway bridge at Penge East station in London. Matthew Matthew, you have an eye for composition. I really like how you placed your subject in the foreground, in the right corner of the frame. It immediately catches the viewer’s attention.

An unexpected snowfall over night which made the Construction ahead signs along main street more interesting than usual: And the latest construction in town - it will be the first in the area although I can't say I'm an enthusiast ... was amused to see that Whiring is not allowed ... Tony, 1st image -- I really like your take on this theme (not the construction itself but the signs leading to it). Very creative! 2nd image -- Great finding! Construction with a humorous touch. I like it.

Tenth floor, en route to 35. Nothing but harsh sunlight, so I figured I'd just shoot into it. Shot BW in camera. Thanks for the theme Tony and Sepiana! Bill, great image -- minimalist composition, angle of shot (upwards), sharp details. Another job well done (as usual)!

Lunch under construction. BLT... the best sandwich ever conceived. Rick, this takes top honors for originality of subject -- a treat not only to the eyes but to the taste buds as well. Great job!

One more - not a construction job I'd be good at ... glad someone is. Tony Tony, great shot -- portrait-orientation following the vertical lines of the equipment and drawing our eyes to the construction going on high up.

Out and about on a Sunday afternoon... Around here, there is construction everywhere. You've got to love these houses! Sign say "Starting in the low $500K's". Pretty, but there isn't such thing as "low $500k's"! Enjoy... Jim, great finding! This is the kind of image that makes one go back to it to "absorb" all the construction going on.
