Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE
This week's theme was suggested by billz. (Thanks, Bill!)

Always like a good excuse to photograph the engine that originally ran 200 oil wells - it's 120 years old and was lovingly restored last year and is running better than ever. Tried something different today - no lights other than from the small windows and it was dull and raining outside. Cranked up the ISO and Topazed the noise. I can remember trying to shoot this with my first digital camera over 20 years ago and technology has certainly improved. Tony

My first hybrid engine with 253 miles on it! Thanks for the theme Sepiana ... I figured I'd pick up something nice and shiny.

Visited a near-by market which has some antique farm equipment on the property. I believe the engines below are from the early 1900's.

While waiting for the car to be serviced close to the tracks I was able to grab a phone pic of a passing CN engine. It was raining at the time and not the greatest of images so tried to brighten it up with a sky replacement... Tony

An ENGINE of destruction, as seen on this morning's trek through the forested Montreal Estate south of Sevenoaks in Kent. Perhaps I am a little unfair in judging it so severely; it is engaged on important forest management and the surroundings will quickly regenerate. i.ibb.co/Y0XKMM1/Dig.jpgBrenda

Three of our town garbage truck that has a diesel engine...... Helen, nice idea. Three zoom levels getting the viewer closer and closer to the diesel engine.

The Flying Scotsman. Model steam engine. whippet, I like how your cropped your image -- narrow, following the lines of the model engine. Nothing else to distract the viewer.

Great job capturing the details of this beauty.

Visited a near-by market which has some antique farm equipment on the property. Helen, nicely done! I like how you captured their deterioration through the years -- rust, dents, etc.
