Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE This week’s theme was a joint suggestion by dennis9. (Thanks - Dennis, Brenda, and Matthew!) In their own words, this is what the Where I Live theme is all about.

I live in Waterside Place, next to the river Wandle. My flat is ground floor on the left. The Wandle River flows north into the Thames in London. i.ibb.co/0jdHZLy/Live.jpgMatthew

I live in a New Jersey coastal town. I stopped by the beach where people were enjoying the 75° temperatures.

Was letting the dog outside about midnight for his last potty stop of the day and we were having a pea soup fog. Just grabbed my camera and took this from the back porch. Not one of my best, since it's hand held at 1/5 second so it's a little soft, but it fits the theme.

I don't know if this is exactly what it intended for the topic, but I'll give it try. Like my photo above, this was taken from my back porch. I mowed the yard yesterday, after a longer than usual interval, so it left behind rather significant grass stems with full seed heads. This female great tailed grackle was eagerly harvesting the bounty of precut nest building material. So I see this as an environmental example of one of my neighbors "Where I Live".

The iconic Hawthorne Bridge leading to downtown Portland. Sorry about the pure white sky, but it's May, so it was raining. ISO 160, F/5.6, 120 sec. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

Billz - I couldn't help myself. When you apologized for the sky, I had to play with it in Photoshop 2021. If you don't like it just say the word and I'll delete it, no problem.

Where I live, things are at last coming back to life. Here at our local restaurant, now happily reopened, tables are ready and customers enjoy a casual drink, while around the other side, preparations are under way for a wedding gathering. i.ibb.co/h7cjkcT/G-Back.jpgi.ibb.co/pKKbS6f/Wedding.jpgDennis

This is as close to "where I live" as I can get. Our humble bungalow.

The nearest station to where I live. A very ordinary suburb to the south of London, but having lived here for over fifty years, I love it as much as ever. i.ibb.co/Jydp9Sz/C-Station.jpgBrenda
