I took a skew photo and now want to correct it in Elements 9. How can I do that. I do not have a lot of space to play with as some faces is on the sides of the photo.

Thank you I did not know that filter, but I went in and change the angel but now the corners of the photo is transparent, with the little white and grey blocks. What can I do now.

You need to use Edge Extension. Move the Scale slider to the right to enlarge your image; this will get rid of the blank areas along the edges.
NOTE: The Scale slider will change your actual image. After you adjust the slider and click OK, Elements will resize and crop your image. Don't use this slider if you want the objects in your image to stay the same size. Do your cropping back in the Editor using any one of the methods available.
EDIT: Here is some information (Help file) on this filter.

Thank you I did not know that filter, but I went in and change the angel but now the corners of the photo is transparent, with the little white and grey blocks. What can I do now. After applying the filter and clicking ok, the background layer is named Layer 0. Duplicate this layer and you will have Layer0Copy as well. Place a blank layer between these two layers and fill it with solid color, or a pattern. If the alignment is not quite right, make the top layer active and position with the move tool, and expand or contract with the corner handles of the move tool. Note: The checker-board pattern which you describe denotes transparency. You can crop it away as has been suggested, or fill the transparent area to "frame" the picture, if you are so inclined.

off topic but just a little curious:
When I looked at the list of threads in the 'Photoshop Elements Editor' forum the Creator of this thread is listed as hmca but I see the OP is Mariette?
How does that work?

fstop and Julie......I did move this thread but am honestly as puzzled as you are as to why the op's name didn't accompany the move.
Seems like weird quirk as this hasn't happened before when moving threads.

How does that work? I believe this was just a glitch when this thread was first moved. I have just tested moving this thread to another board and back to this board. The creator didn't change from hmca to Sepiana.
