Fireworks reflected in the water along with lights from homes on the river.

I knew exactly where I'd try first for this week's theme. I usually have to add a minimum 4-stop ND filter to smooth out the water in this urban water feature, but there is no breeze at all today and this is at 1/125 sec. It was over 90F at 8:00ish this morning and these three were more than a little excited to be heading to work in one of the air-conditioned towers nearby. Thanks for the theme sepiana and kdcintx! Bill, beautiful! The reflections are crystal clear. It looks like Mother Nature was on your side -- no breeze.

Full moon over the lake. Photo taken with iPhone and hand held for 3.5 seconds. Great composition! The reflections draw our eyes towards the full moon.

The edge of a small lake - once a gravel pit but has now reverted to nature (with some good walking trails so a popular spot for dog-walkers) Really nice shot! It looks like a painting. Great job!

There were some beautiful white fluffy clouds yesterday that I had hoped would eventually find themselves reflected in the water but it was not to be. There are no clouds today and very little reflection so I am starting with this. I hope to come back later in the week with a much better image. Not what I had hoped for but with rain in the future for the next few days I think I will add this but will still hold out hope of getting a better image. Even if the weather didn't cooperate, you still succeeded in getting some really nice water reflections. I like the boats reflected in the water.

Two photos from my stroll this afternoon by our village ponds. Dennis Dennis, these reflections are so clear! I love the 2nd image (with the red splash of the buses ) and how you shot it (through an opening in the trees, bushes).

Reflections of pond weed flowers and a duck on a log at the ponds. Clive, very nice! You did a great job capturing such different reflections.

I took a reflective walk through parks and waterways near home, trying to capture the effect of evening sun on water. Brenda Brenda, you did a great job. Such a peaceful scene! I really like the 1st image -- the reflection of the bridge is amazing.

Another shot from yesterday evening. I was intending to delete it, but Dennis reassured me that it was worth including. An interesting pattern of reflected branches..... Brenda Brenda, good thing you listened to your husband! The pattern of the reflected branches is eye-catching. I love how you composed your shot -- with the foliage and branches naturally framing the reflections.

A hidden pond with a bit of a reflection ... Tony, what a finding -- a hidden reflection! Beautiful scenery!

Another day on the golf course! It looks like there was no wind on this day. The water reflections are perfect.

A flooded car park gave me some unexpected reflections today. Matthew Matthew, great job noticing these reflections and capturing them! My favorite is the 2nd shot -- lots of reflections to keep the viewer's interest.

Another day on the golf course! It looks like there was no wind on this day. The water reflections are perfect. Unfortunately, there were a few ripples on the water after the ball went in!
