Snail on ivy leaves. Is it just resting here, or eating the leaves? Matthew Matthew, WOW! Great capture. The focus is spot-on. (It looks like the snail has already taken a bite of one of the leaves.)

From today's walk in the woods....we are not seeing much in terms of Fall color yet. Helen, you still captured a variety of colors and of foliage. Nice job!

Succulents. I hope this is classed as foliage. whippet, I believe it does. This is a good example of "fleshy" foliage. Nice job zooming in so we could see the details of these succulents.

Foliage of the edible kind - our latest crop of microgreens. Seeds sown 5 days ago and ready for harvest today. Broccoli on the left and Radish on the right. An easy way to grow salad year round. Tony, I was hoping someone thould think of edible foliage and . . . you delivered it. A promise of heathy and tasty salad ahead.

Crab Apple leaves and fruit with late afternoon light. CJT cjt, great time to take this shot. The light just makes the leaves (and fruit) stand out. Nice job indeed!

Jacki, interesting interpretation of this week’s theme -- delicate and soft-colored foliage. Nice job!

A contrast to the beautiful living foliage in this week's contributions - here is foliage wrought in stone. Stiff leaf capitals decorate the 13th century arcade in the church of Great Gaddesden in Hertfordshire. Somewhat stylized and severe, they are undoubtedly foliage. Brenda Brenda, this takes top honors for choice of foliage and capture of the architectural details. Another job well done (as usual).

Fencing net used to prevent foliage dropped blowing into the pond. Jim, this is a very interesting interpretation of foliage -- dropped on the ground. Great thinking out of the box!
