Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE I am assigning no theme this week. It is your turn! Pick a theme which appeals to you, grab your camera, and capture something which will be an interpretation of the theme you chose. Also, let us know what your theme is and how your image relates to it. Have fun!

The theme was chosen for me this week. "Brrrrr" My neighborhood streets will probably be as far as I go while we're locked into a bout of winter. Just a dusting of snow so far, but "Brrrr." Happy New Year to all and best wishes for a safe, peaceful 2022. Thanks for the theme Sepiana.

My theme is reflections...... I had started out thinking I would use the pole reflections, then I saw this man carrying the net and thought he made it more interesting. A dull and overcast day things did brighten up for a short period.

As it just snowed here I was going for a snowy theme and spotted this aged maple leaf stuck in the snow - if I had posed it myself I would likely have stuck it in the same spot but this was all natural! Tony

My theme for the week is Sign. This trio of pictures shows Matthew wishing everyone a Happy New Year in BSL (British Sign Language). i.ibb.co/mSg8627/Sign.jpgDennis

My theme is "surprise". I was very surprised to see this train covered with oversized ants just outside London Bridge Station. It is of course a restaurant/bar/nightspot. But it also shocks and surprises unsuspecting passengers waiting on Platform 15. i.ibb.co/YWxS6sN/Pub.jpgMatthew

My theme for this week is "redundant", as illustrated by this poor bridge now going nowhere and carrying nobody. In the nineteenth century it carried pedestrians across the very busy Surrey Canal which transported goods to and from the south of London. With the coming of rail and road transport, the canal fell into disuse and was finally filled in. All that remains of it are two road bridges and this pedestrian bridge, now preserved as a picturesque feature of Burgess Park just south of the Thames. i.ibb.co/XDRF5jq/Bridge.jpgBrenda

One more snowy themed pic as it snowed again last night - taken along a creek hence the reflections - converted to black and white although there really wasn't any other colour except a touch of brown in the muddy water. Tony

The gray, overcast skies add a touch of grunginess to this "brrrrr" street scene. Beautiful! Happy New Year to you too! Keep safe and stay healthy!

I really like the reflections in the puddle. It's the kind of image that catches the viewers' attention.

Tony, beautiful image -- simplistic/uncluttered composition. I really like the blades of grass poking through the snow, adding an extra color to this snowy scene.
