The acceptable speed "boundary" on gravel county roads is 80 kph. The other signs indeed tells you it is the town's boundary. Clive, great idea capturing such signs to fulfill this week’s theme. They are all around us but we tend to forget their purpose -- to create boundaries. |

This broad, bright yellow line, complete with raised studs to alert blind and partially blind passengers, marks the boundary between the risk-free section of the platform and the area we should all avoid if we are sensible. Unfortunately, many do ignore it, at their own peril. Brenda Brenda, these are boundaries not to be ignored. I really like the angle you took your shot; it clearly shows the demarcation created by the yellow line -- safe vs not safe. |
