This reminds me of when I was walking through the Old Course Lake back in Jan 2018 and these boots looked as if someone stop in there tracks and jump out of the boots.  |

Anyone care to guess what it was used for? An ink pot? Correct! It’s a wooden shoe ink-well with a dog head that lifts up. The ink was in a glass jar in the metal container. Tony |
