Afternoon tea and cakes - a delicious bridge between lunch and dinner. Brenda Brenda, great thinking out of the box. Simply beautiful image -- a treat for the eyes and the taste buds. Frame and hang it on the wall!

I can't decide if this could be described as a bridge, or not. I was on the very high footbridge when I took this. I think the steelworkers must have been drunk when they built it. whippet, this is a great finding! Not the kind of bridge one usually comes across. Great job capturing its unusual lines.

Bascule bridge at entrance to Surrey Water in Rotherhithe Street in London Docklands. The Thames Path crosses the bridge as it travels east from Tower Bridge to Greenwich., a walk we often enjoy. Matthew Matthew, you do have a knack for composition. I really like the angle of this shot. It draws the viewers’ eyes across the frame to the side view of the bridge.

Portland's iconic Hawthorne Bridge. 30-sec exposure, f8, ISO 160, 14-stop ND And some morning Tai Chi under the Marquam Bridge. And one more just for grins. Thanks for the theme Sepiana! Bill, you nailed all three shots -- composition and details. My favorite is the second one with the human element and the under-the-bridge angle. It’s an eye-catcher!

Ships have bridges too - in this case the ferry Jiimaan (which means canoe in Ojibwe I believe) And from under the bridge to the US Tony, great examples of creativity at work -- a ship's bridge. And, as usual, with your trademark (sharp and detailed images). Well done!

B&W conversion of the shadows of the flower bridge. Frank, and a well-done B&W conversion. Great tonal range and shadows to die for. Beautiful image!
