Do the staple placements look right? Personally I would remove the one at the bottom of each of the lower photos as I don’t think they are necessary and don’t really add anything to the page. And I would say you are done and ready to go to Press...

Thanks, Lillias. That should be an easy fix.
Tom, interesting to see your take and what the neural filter did to the original.
Thanks for your help, Janice. I'm glad you agree with the parts of the house I decided to highlight.
Will post back to let you know if I find out anything about it from the FB page.

It was a fun project and you are now, officially, a digital scrapper. Although, technically, I have seen some of your other projects that would definitely qualify.
What appeals to me when assembling these pages is preserving history or a life memory. When I look back at my scrapbook pages, I really enjoy revisiting even the most mundane memories.

Thank you, Janice. And addressing those staples was NOT and easy fix, Lillias. For some reason when I use the brush tool, the clone tool and the spot healing tool I click one place and the tool moves to another. So I am just letting this be. Hopefully this bothersome behavior will clear itself up when I restart my computer as I have reset the tools but the behavior continues.

Sorry about that Helen.
That kind of thing is so annoying. I know because it happens to me too. I will have selected a particular layer and then choose a tool, go ahead and use the tool only to discover that when choosing the tool the layer selection appears to have changed all on its own and of course I don’t notice until it’s too late. I’ve read of others who experience this problem but I have never read of a proper resolution for this.

Well while I was hoping for some information about the history of the house, commentors were mostly interested in its location as they had never seen it. It is somewhat hidden away. One person commented that he had heard that at one time it was supposed to be one of the nicest homes in town. Someone else remembers it surrounded by hedges when he delivered papers there as a kid. And two people expressed appreciation of the details that had attracted me. Oh and one person identified the one-time owner.

Helen - that sounds like a mystery that will not be solved easily. But it’s enough that we all got to share in its beauty.

You never know, you might get more information about it in time. It certainly looks to have been a beautiful house and your photos have captured some of the remaining beauty. Thanks for sharing them with us.
