PROBLEM SOLVED
I recall a while back not being able to see users location in the avatar and it was because I am using the over 65, lousy eyesight, larger font view. When I go to my profile and turn the default view on the logo is there.

Wow, something accomplished today and its only 8.30am here on the smoky West Coast.

Great sleuthing job! I can confirm it. I set the font to "Default larger font" and I had the same problem you described: Logged in -- The logo does not display. As Guest -- The logo is visible.

I have not reset font size, however, I did reboot the iPad today.
