Somewhere to sit and admire the stunning view from Tent Hill, where supposedly the Norman or Saxon armies camped before the Battle of Hastings in 1066. Brenda Brenda, great finding! And, yes, the view is stunning. I like how you included a human element in your shot (Matthew). Nice personal touch! |

This place to sit was created in a local park by a chainsaw artist from two dead trees (victims of the emerald ash borer). Unfortunately birds love to sit on the ends and treat them as public conveniences  . Did wonder about using the spot healing brush but decided to leave them au naturel Tony, what an unusual place to sit on! Quite a chainsaw job! The "work" by the birds adds character to this bench. |
