I think I like looking down better than looking up! Looking up in the kitchen reminds me that I can't remember the last time I dusted these pieces above the cabinets. I must be taller than you, Helen, the amount of dust up there it's bad

An opportunity to look upwards as we visited the "Superbloom" display of wild flowers grown from over two million seeds scattered in the moat of The Tower of London. This section was entitled "The Pollinators", featuring metallic butterflies, dragonflies, bees, etc. fluttering above us. Beautiful! i.ibb.co/3C5Grgs/1.jpgi.ibb.co/c1YnfsT/2.jpgBrenda

I think I like looking down better than looking up! Looking up in the kitchen reminds me that I can't remember the last time I dusted these pieces above the cabinets. Finally got out of my apartment today! Thought this historic water tower in a near-by town would work well for this theme. Helen, both of your entries work well for this theme. The 1st one is quite creative.

Looking up from dirt level. Thanks for the theme Tone and for wrangling the challenge Sepiana! Bill, I really like your approach -- getting low and looking up. Very clever! The result is a visually appealing image.

jackscrap, nicely composed shot. The tree branches create leading lines drawing our eyes to the bird.

Frank, I really like how the bird is naturally framed by the foliage. Great capture, amazing details.

No birds visible in our large, 30 foot + Blue Spruce tree. Not very interesting sky today either! cjt, you were definitely looking up here. Great job capturing the details of this magnificent tree.

Looking up at the Beauty Bush (Kolkwitzia amabilis) . Just past its prime after a storm last night. The tulip tree has unusual flowers and you usually have to look up into the branches to spot them (the trees can grow to 200ft) - was fortunate enough to look up and spot this one today Tony, two great images -- colorful and sharp. My favorite one is the 2nd one. What an unusual flower!

Looking up at lamp posts. whippet, the cloud shapes make a nice contrast with the stark lines of the lamp posts. Good capturing job!

Looking up at the Spinnaker. This 560ft Observation Tower was erected in 2005 as the centrepiece of the redevelopment of Portsmouth Harbour. Dennis Dennis, two beautiful images! Great job capturing the architectural details of this tower. Spot-on focus.

Just missed a shot of Parakeet, flew off just as I took the snap. Jim, nice capture (even without the parakeet). The greenery of the trees makes a good contrast with the blue skies.

My favorite is the second shot -- simplistic composition, the pollinators coming into the frame, fluttering against the blue sky.
