For most of the day the horizon line blended between sea and sky.....finally was able to take this. Every once in a while I manage to be up for sunrise....maybe later in the week. Helen, very nice. Simplistic composition, negative space, a painterly look.

Not up for sunrise but a mid-afternoon visit to a Lake Huron viewpoint - unusually nothing on the horizon and no one sitting - explained by it being a very hot day. And looking the other way lots more empty seats, dog walkers and the bridge to the US Tony, two great images on more than one count -- composition, details, sharpness, colors.

During our walk today in the Hertfordshire countryside, the views across the vale of St Albans gave us two horizons, the first being the line of treetops, while the second and farthest horizon was punctuated by the distinctive tower of Napsbury Hospital and to its left St Albans Cathedral. Brenda Brenda, an eye-catching image with layers of interest from foreground to background. And two horizons? The icing on the cake.

From yesterdays walk along the river Jacki, nice shot -- sunlight, greenery, and a blue sky on the horizon. The walking path seems to invite us to follow it towards the horizon.
