I created a shortened link in a regular post & then copied it into my signature. Deleted the post before sending. Hope that makes sense!

Bayla Bayla: In a practice post I clicked on "link" and then typed in "JimD's Gallery" as the text; then copied the long link from my sig. into the url line below the text line, and then clicked "create link"; but when I right clicked to copy the red colored shortened link the word "copy" was grayed out. What did I do wrong?

Jim,
My fault for not being clearer. Switch to BBCode view & then highlight & copy that string. When you paste it into your signature and then go to Preview it will show as JimD's Gallery.

FYI: I have added a FAQ about adding a link to your gallery. It is a little different than your method Bayla. I think it is a tiny bit more robust in that it creates a link to the gallery, not just the first post in the gallery, which could be deleted.
