From a morning walk through an old oil field here's a view of an old horse drawn oil wagon - likely from about 1890 A good theme with lots of possibilities Tony

Thanks for the theme Helen! You sent me out to one of my happy-places ... as if I needed much of a prod. ;-) Here's a Boyce Moto Meter atop the radiator of an old Ford. (Before the hood ornament came the moto meter, an ornate thermometer affair that screwed into the radiator cap; it was intended to keep the driver informed of the engine coolant temperature.)
B/W in camera with a contrast boos in LR and a final sharpening with Topaz sharpen.

I like seeing all the texture and the numbers that seem carved into the wood, Tony. Great find for this challenge.
Sorry, I know that must have been a real chore for you, Bill. But it's nice to see "old" all polished and shiny. Great idea.

Some fancy items. All nice. This is a split cedar post that is several decades old. I have two at home that are 100+ years. The cedar is able to wards off fungus rot. Cowley, Alberta August 5, 2022

I like the minimalistic look of your image, Clive. Interesting about why cedar would be a good choice for the post.
Fascinating sculpture, Dan. I especially liked the close-ups of the skin on his nose and chin.

Here are two images from a trip to the Moravian Tile Works in Doylestown, PA. Some old bowls in the kitchen of the Tile Works. An old window with a bunch of old items in front of it.

Lewis Arthur Peters, my great grand father, was a slate worker in Slatington, PA. He carved this box which we keep his old dominoes inside; no idea what he had in mind for use.

Thanks for reminding me of Moravian, Vicki. Lots of potential images from there. I like the two scenes you chose to share.
One day that old house is going to be gone, Clive. It is great that you have so many pictures that document its existence.
Your great grandfather appears to have been a skilled craftsman, Pete. Good idea to keep his dominoes in the box.

You have achieved a nice range of tones in your B/W conversion, Pete. Do you know what that metal key-like looking object on the tray was used for?

It looks like a soft drink bottle cap opener to me but that's my best guess.
