Here is a full page from my Camera Raw inside of PSE 2021. I see no way to open any more files other than the one file I do have opened here. You can't open several raw files from within the ACR plugin. But you can either use the editor with 'Open in ACR' and select several files in the Explorer window, or, You can use the organizer to select (highlight) several raw files and use the usual 'Editor' icon on the bottom, or the memu edit > Edit with Photoshop Elements editor (shorcut Ctrl I).
Good to know: the above ways automatically raw files, but also jpegs/psd which have already been edited in camera raw from the editor.
In practice, I can comfortably open 20 to 50 raws at the same time with my modest hardware config. The more memory available, the larger scratch disks, the better.

Here is a screenshot with the filmstrip on the bottom.
In recent ACR versions you can choose to locate the filmstrip on the bottom or the left side.

I almost always open several raw files in ACR as michelb has shown. My film strip is on the left. ACR allows you to select several similarly exposed photos at the same time and apply adjustments to all.

Inspeqtor, thank you for sharing another excellent moon picture!
You have already received some good advice from Fotofrank and Michelb about processing in Adobe Camera Raw. I would like to add the following.
1- You will likely get a sharper and better quality image by processing a raw image rather than processing a jpg image. This is because the in-camera processing converts to jpg resulting in a loss of quality and detail. 2- Masking in ACR controls if all the image is sharpened (Masking =0) or if just the edges are sharpened. If you hold down the alt button while adjusting the masking slider you can see the "Mask" being applied. White= masking 0 = all the surface of the image is sharpened. As you drag the slider to the right you can see just the edges are being sharpened. usually I use masking between 50 and 75 for my images. Otherwise if all the image is sharpened you may increase noise. 3- I suggest you Google "ACR tutorials", there are many out there. By all means get stuck in and experiment to see what each slider does.
Kind regards Chris

MichelB, Pontiac1940 and Chris,
I THANK YOU each for your input here! Michel I thank you for SHOWING me what a filmstrip looks like! Now I understand MUCH better what you were trying to tell me!
Pontiac, than you for showing me I can have the filmstrip either on the bottom or the side at my desire, I just have to learn how to do that.
Chris, I used to have my camera setup to do both JPG and Raw, but I set my camera back to facory recently but have not set it back I have to change that back. Also than you for your other tips you gave me. I will Google ACR Tutorials very soon!

I will Google ACR Tutorials very soon! Charles, You may want to limit your search by specifying ACR tutorials Photoshop Elements. In this way, you won't get tutorials for Photoshop. ACR in Photoshop has features which are not available in Elements.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9GOf9ktV0M&t=325sI just did a search for ACR Tutorial for Photoshop Elements in Youtube. The first few files that came up were for Photoshop Elements Tutorials, but down a few were for ACR tutorials within PSE. The one above started out showing the person had opened a file in Photoshop Elements "Open in Camera Raw" On the top area he was showing what he had on his screen in the top LEFT corner are several icons. Why is it when I open a file using the same command I do not have ANY icons in that area you see with the RED arrow?? I also do not have the icons on the bottom of the page (not shown in my image) but seen in the video I attached at the top of this file.

Inspeqtor, In the video he is using an older version of Elements. Adobe has made some changes to the ACR user interface since then. In PSE 2021, the version you are using, those commands are on the right side of the screen.

Thank you Sepiana! I do NOT have the magnifying glass shown in the lower part of your screen shot but I do have everything else. Well it turns out I did not really have everything else. What I highlighted below I do not have when I open an image in Camera Raw (Raw or Jpeg)

You may want to look inside the items on the right the Sepiana pointed out to find that Adobe moved them. The image below shows that the level and image rotation with the crop tool.

fotofrank,
Sorry but I do not see what you see about what Sepiana posted. Yes she did tell me that Adobe did move a few, but there are still more I do not see.
I was in error showing I did not see the color picker tool as I do see I do have THAT one. But the other ones I still do not see.

fotofrank, I just took another moon shot tonight which looks similar to the shot I took back in August, but when I try going into RAW and work with this photo I do not get anything near to what I had before. I do have this shot in both RAW and JPG but do not know how to post the RAW version here. Here is the JPG version resized to max 2400

When I am working in the Camera RAW stage, is there a way to INCREASE the size of the text in the right hand side? It is hard for me to read the tiny text shown here??
