Someone had to do it and I was passing by this morning ... Tony, I was hoping someone would think of this kind of shell and . . . you delivered it (with your trademark -- sharp and detailed image).

Pacific oyster shell (bleached) Found this in our garden at the summer place. We brought it home from BC a few years ago. You might not know that commercially produced Pacific oysters are not native to North America. Clive, this is an unusual shell, off-white with a touch of purple. The black background makes a nice contrast with the shell’s colors.

Ram's horn snail shell, in the marsh. Frank, you found an exquisite shell. Great job zooming in and capturing its details!

I had to 'borrow' some leaves from my own garden. whippet, very nice! Going for a fruit shell. Your shell/leaves arrangement makes an interesting table centerpiece.

On our walk yesterday we saw this unfinished SHELL of a building, which will soon be home to many families. Matthew Matthew, great thinking out of the shell, I mean, out of the box. An architectural shell! Sharp and detailed image.
