whippet, very nice! This beer jug seems to have a history. I like the uncluttered composition.

My "B" is for bowls, my hobby since retiring from work many years ago. This shot taken from today's Captain's Day at the Bowling Club. Dennis Dennis, great capture of the "Bowls" action! Colorful and sharp image.

This is Massacre Butte with a swathed barley field in the foreground. Mule deer bucks in barley fields Clive, great job! Hard to pick a favorite. But I go for the fill-the-frame barley. It would make a nice background for a composite.

A Bus crosses a Bridge, with a Bevy of Birds in the foreground. Brenda Brenda, I really like how you composed your shot. It invites the viewers to stop and search for this B variety. An eye-catcher shot!

Lots of beans grown around here - mostly soybeans. Stopped by a field of them to see how they were doing. Several weeks away from harvest but last nights rain should help. Tony, these beans look pretty good. Great capture! Amazing details and a DOF to die for.

I picked the right time to go out in the yard with my 100-400 lens to shoot Bees (I hadn't even seen this week's subject yet). They swarm all over the Russian Sage around the patio. I took about 200 photos to get 2 that were decent. Here's one: Rick, and you did everything right! You nailed this Bee shot, with spot-on focus and great DOF.

Beans here too. And a basket. I wanted a basket of beans but they kept falling out the bottom. Thanks for the theme Sepiana! Bill, two amazing shots! I love the angle you took the shot of the basket -- looking upwards. It accentuates the "bottomless" of the basket. Very clever!

Here's my granddaughter, Eleanor, playing with her new Barbie. And her Brother, Oliver, posing with his menagerie. Vicky, both B interpretations are perfect for this theme. Great images (with a personal touch).
