Great image thank you Sepiana. I extracted the subject and applied a sketch effect on him. Added new background image from Pixabay and the wooden bench from HiClipart. BillieJean, you have a knack for mixing techniques with added elements. This is a visually appealing rendition.

Changed background to get better effect, Convert to vintage, old paper, new layer yellow, blend mode, saturation, opacity 30 Jim, great job creating this vintage effect. The choice of an old paper brought it all together. Definitely vintage!

He looks quite at home there Helen. Added the musician to a bench in a photo I had taken at Grand Teton National Park. Used match color, NIK Filters, and Topaz original Impression....ending with poster edges filter in PS. Helen, I quite agree. I had the same reaction. Very nice!

A painted version Pete, I really like this painting effect. It was a great choice of effect/technique for editing the starter image. Would you please share how you did it?

Supplemental photos courtesy of Pixabay and Unsplash. Added Topaz studio filters "The Night", Precision contrast, and other light/contrast adjustments. Jim, this is awesome on more than one count -- composite elements, choice of filter. Excellent work!

Jim, this is awesome on more than one count -- composite elements, choice of filter. Excellent work! Thanks so much, Sepiana. It's especially encouraging coming from someone with your composite abilities and experience. I wonder if anyone noticed my somewhat "hidden" element in the composite.

Your split toning really adds an attractive look to it. Plus, the arch framing directing us through to the fence's leading line adds a hint of mystery as to what's waiting at the end of that fence "rainbow".

Image from Pexels, lyrics from Otis Redding: Tony, perfect choice of lyrics to go with this image. Great job with the selection extraction and its seamless blending with the background.

whippet, the colors of the ferryboat complement the colors of his clothes/guitar. And he seems to be entertaining the viewers with a serenade. Nice job!
