I thought I'd jump on the 'archive' train with an image from our drive out west a few years ago. This was taken on a jeep tour of a Pueblo (I think) reservation outside Santa Fe. I love how Black & White brings out all the facets of the rocks.

We are on a roll. Thanks for all of your submissions to Earth and Sky. Inspiredby some of your archives posts, I looked for cloud photos. Chinook (wind) clouds in SW Alberta, May 4, 2022. Multi-shot pano. (The water is the rather low Oldman River Reservoir that filled fast as the mountain snows melted.)

I am late to this party, so I'll add two images. The first one is the Great Salt Lake and the "Great Salt Lake Cloud." When you have a single cloud that fills the frame, you just have to press the shutter. This second image is from Arches National Park — I think (so many rocks).

Chinook winds today and abysmally dull this afternoon. Wind clouds late this afternoon.

So many wonderful black and white images for this topic! This is definitely a great subject for monochrome images.
